Small Hops Builder

From Surveillance to Support — Issue 9
How it works: In 4 steps, you'll design a tiny, sustainable change — so small it feels almost embarrassing. That's the point. Fifty feet became two miles. Your hop starts here.
Step 1: What area do you want to change?
Pick the category that feels most relevant right now. Not the hardest one — the one where a small win would feel good.
Step 2: Choose your hop
Pick a suggestion or write your own. Remember: if it takes more than 2 minutes, make it smaller.
Or write your own:
Step 3: Now make it smaller

Can you shrink it further?

Step 4: Your hop plan

Rules of the hop

  1. Miss a day? Just do it the next day. No guilt. No restart. No drama.
  2. If it naturally grows, let it. But don't force it.
  3. If it feels too big, shrink it. The mailbox is still a hop.
  4. Tell someone what you're doing. Accountability helps. Secrecy doesn't.
  5. Celebrate week 1 more than week 4. Starting is harder than continuing.
